Activities
Ganymedes was established to provide social events, cultural and educational activities and to enable collaboration between students interested influencing the policies of other organisations (e.g. political lobbying). If you want to suggest or even help to arrange an activity, get in touch with the Activities Officer.
Non-members are welcome to all activities although presence at General Meetings must be approved by the members present and the cost of tickets to events etc. will usually be lower for members.
A number of activities are being considered and planned and re-planned. Details included dates and times are subject to change. Check back here once every so often or sign up to the mailing list to keep abreast of the latest developments.

About one or two hours before a Ganymedes activity is due to start, the Ganymedes Mobile Telecommunications System (GMTS) will be fired up to enable members and non-members to get in touch with an Executive Officer if they are lost, late or confused etc. The system will be powered down an hour or two after the end of the activity. To establish a link to the GMTS, dial 0644043150. Operators will be standing by to take your call.
Fortnightly social drinks
Unless otherwise specified in the activities calendar, Ganymedes will hold drinks every other Thursday during term-time, at El Rubio and beginning at 21h00. If you’re new or coming alone and/or shy, you might find it less intimidating to get there before 21h20 since there will be fewer of us there at that time. If you prefer, you can contact a member of the Executive Committee to arrange to meet somewhere shortly before the drink.
