What information do we collect through our website?
We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable and payment information (name and contact information) through event signup / ticketing forms.
How do we collect this information?
Session information (your IP address, what pages you visit etc.) are collected through cookies. Your personal and payment information is only collected through event signup / ticketing forms (which can be on this website or managed through Google Forms). Each time you provide us with this information, you are asked to confirm that you allow us to collect this information. This information is required to signup for our events.
Why do we collect this information?

Non-personal information is collected in order to compile aggregated statistical information on our website and its visitors.

Personal and payment information is collected for each of our events that require attendees to sing up / purchase a ticket in order to ensure that we can contact you with updates or other important information about the event and/or ensure that all attendees have signed up for the event.
We do not share your data with any 3rd parties for any purpose other than performing data processing, storage and management on our behalf.
How do we process and store your information?
Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. Most of our event signups are handled through Google Forms. Both Wix.com and Google store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. They may only process all your data related to this website on our behalf and they cannot process it for their own benefit.​
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
How and why do we communicate with you?
Unless otherwise agreed upon with you (e.g. when becoming a member of our association), we may only contact you either in response to you contacting us (see the Contact page for how to do that) or to send you relevant information about an event after signing up / purchasing a ticket. For these purposes, we may contact you via email, telephone, and text messages (including WhatsApp messages).
How can you withdraw your consent regarding your data?
If you wish for us to stop collecting data about you and delete any previously collected data, you may contact us via web@ganymedes-lgbt.nl or the form in our Contact page.
When do we update our Privacy Policy?
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so we encourage you to review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
